Why this exists
Jacob Veches came up in financing, on the inside. He spent years watching the same thing happen: a business with real revenue, real customers, and a real reason to borrow would walk into a bank and get turned down. The business wasn't bad. It just didn't fit the box.
The contractor whose money is tied up in receivables. The trucking outfit two years in instead of five. The shop whose best month looked like a red flag on a form. Good operators, all of them, told no by someone who never asked what the money was for.
He started Trueballast to be the other side of that conversation. Not a bank, but a broker who knows a specific group of private lenders well enough to know who says yes to what. Someone who tells you straight when the answer is no, so you stop wasting weeks finding out.
